Analysis of the Effectiveness of Tariffs for Telecommunications Services with Broadband Access

The purpose of the study was to analyze the efficiency of tariffs of companies providing telecommunications services with broadband access. The analysis was carried out with respect to both the efficiency of the tariff system in general and its individual elements. The structure of costs for services providing access to the Internet and networks of digital television has been studied. The scheme of the analysis of the product and cost parts of the tariff system of telecommunication companies is proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of pricing strategies for telecommunication services are discussed

Optimization of the duration of collection of orders on the enterprise’s products

The subject of the study became the procedure for planning the production of an industrial firm, based on the performance of only received orders. In this case, random fluctuations in the volume of orders cause either excessive loading on production, or downtime. It is shown that an increase in the duration of the collection period of orders can reduce production losses. Investigated one of the possible models of economically justified choice of the duration of collection of orders. In it are uses approximate estimates of losses due to the unevenness of the flow of order volumes and the reduction in orders due to long terms of their fulfillment

Аналіз політики операційної активності підприємства з резервуванням продукції

This paper examines the process of operative planning of the production of an industrial company under conditions of random fluctuations in current demand. It is shown that under these conditions there are losses, the size of which depends on the adopted policy of operation activity. The policy of operation activity is understood as the rule of making decisions on current production volumes based on information about incoming orders, probable volumes of future demand, and possible losses due to the deviation of capacity load from the normative one. In the paper, it is proposed to assess the effectiveness of each policy of operation activity using the indicator of the limit average economic effect per unit of time for an infinite number of periods. An original approach to assessing the effectiveness of the policy of operation activity with product reservation was developed. It was shown that when using this policy, there is an effect of product "overstock" on the chains of successive periods. It was proposed to select the initial reserve so that the probability of completion of the reservation chain for a given number of periods should be close to unity. Such an approach creates an opportunity to determine the expected economic effect on the chains of reservation of various product types and, as a result, to assess the policy effectiveness in general. An assessment of the effectiveness of the policy with reservation in the form of the dependence of the policy effectiveness indicator on the values of cost indicators was obtained. Comparison of this assessment with a similar assessment of the effectiveness of the policy of fulfilling incoming orders allowed finding a condition under which the policy with reservation is more profitable. It involves ensuring that the magnitude of losses per unit of production associated with the product stock storage does not exceed half the sum of the magnitude of losses per unit of production due to downtime and excess capacity load.В работе исследуется процесс оперативного планирования производства промышленной компании в условиях случайных колебаний текущего спроса. Показано, что в этих условиях возникают потери, размеры которых зависят от принятой политики операционной активности. Под политикой операционной активности понимается правило принятия решений о текущих объёмах производства на основе информации о поступивших заказах, вероятных объёмах будущего спроса и возможных потерях из-за отклонения загрузки мощностей от нормативной. В работе предложено оценивать эффективность каждой политики операционной активности с помощью показателя предельного среднего экономического эффекта за единицу времени на бесконечном количестве периодов. Разработан оригинальный подход к оценке эффективности политики операционной активности с резервированием продукции. Показано, что при использовании данной политики возникает эффект «залёживания» продукции на цепочках последовательных периодов. Предложено выбирать начальный резерв так, чтобы вероятность завершения цепочки резервирования на заданном количестве периодов составляла величину, близкую к единице. Такой подход создаёт возможность для определения ожидаемого экономического эффекта на цепочках резервирования различных видов и в результате – для оценки эффективности политики в целом. Получена оценка эффективности политики с резервированием в форме зависимости показателя эффективности политики от значений стоимостных показателей. Сравнение этой оценки с аналогичной оценкой эффективности политики выполнения поступивших заказов позволило найти условие, при котором политика с резервированием является более выгодной. Оно состоит в том, чтобы величина потерь на единицу продукции, связанная с хранением запаса продукции, не превосходила половины суммы величины потерь на единицу продукции, обусловленных простоями и сверхнормативной загрузкой мощностейУ роботі досліджується процес оперативного планування виробництва промислової компанії за умов випадкових коливань поточного попиту. Під політикою операційної активності розуміється правило прийняття рішень про поточні обсяги виробництва на основі інформації про замовлення, ймовірні обсяги майбутнього попиту та можливі втрати через відхилення завантаження потужностей від нормативного. У роботі запропоновано оцінювати ефективність кожної політики операційної активності за допомогою показника, який відповідає граничному середньому економічному ефекту в одиницю часу на нескінченній кількості періодів. Розроблено оригінальний підхід до оцінки ефективності політики операційної активності із резервуванням продукції. Показано, що за використання цієї політики виникає ефект «залежування» продукції на ланцюжках послідовних періодів. Запропоновано вибирати початковий резерв так, щоб ймовірність завершення ланцюжка резервування на заданій кількості періодів складала величину, близьку до одиниці. Такий підхід створює можливість для визначення очікуваного економічного ефекту на ланцюжках резервування різних видів і у результаті – для отримання оцінки ефективності політики загалом. Отримано оцінку ефективності політики з резервуванням у формі залежності показника ефективності політики від значень вартісних показників. Порівняння цієї оцінки з аналогічною оцінкою ефективності політики виконання замовлень дозволило знайти умову, за якої політика з резервуванням є більш вигідною. Умова полягає в тому, щоб величина втрат на одиницю продукції, пов'язана із зберіганням запасу продукції, не перевищувала половини суми втрат на одиницю продукції, зумовлених простоями та наднормативним завантаженням потужносте
